Totally snowed under by work, so despite having actually read a pile of books, and even made ice cream from one of them, I've no time to write about them for a few days. It's annoying me, but there you go, the work has to be done, because that is after all what pays the bills...
Same here! I'm escaping into books still, but at times when posts would usually be writing themselves in my head it's occupied by work. I hope you can catch up with yourself soon.ReplyDelete
*sigh* work is so tedious some times...ReplyDelete
Work gets in the way of everything! Will look forward to hearing what you've been up to, have a great day, Karen.ReplyDelete

breaking new boundaries, Hayley, turning books into icecream!
What a lovely picture you found - sorry your are blue. Isn't it a shame about work?!ReplyDelete
Oh Curzon, you do make me feel bad about my grammer (and spelling, and style) but you have made me wonder what a book flavoured ice cream would be like - although I would cry if my new Sarah Raven book turned into ice cream. I've found book smelling scent, and I know of a wine so inky that it tastes printed rather than vinified. Hmmm.ReplyDelete
Hannah, I walked past a whole bed of forget me nots in the park on my way home the other day and the colours were so amazing I couldn't stop staring at them (or taking pictures)
I am on holiday right now but getting back to work proper on the 7th! Know the feeling..ReplyDelete
We all know the feeling! Hope things settle down soon, and that you get time to enjoy the icecream!ReplyDelete
Hey! I've got that picture as my mobile wallpaper ! Love to you xReplyDelete
