Stuck In A Book

This week Simon at Stuck In A Book is doing a my life in books series - today he's got Karyn from A Penguin A Week and me. This is the second time that he's run the series, it was excellent last time and is excellent again. Simon's brother's revelations about the music tastes of the young stuck in a book are my highlight so far and are going to be hard to beat but bookwise there's still a lot to look forward to.
the comfy dog picture has no relevance - it's purely decorative. But he does look comfy.

  1. Oh, your dog is such a cutie! I really enjoyed reading your responses on Simon's blog. It's such a fun series.

    1. Jamie is mu father's dog. He normally sleeps in a kennel and knows he isn't allowed on furniture but he took advantage of being somewhere new when he came to visit and we discovered him looking very guilty and very comfortable.

  2. Loved the interview, especially your mouldering Victorian house and those long journeys...

There is not such thing as an irrelevant dog picture. All pictures of dogs are always relevant!

  4. Jamie is so sweet, then again I love just about every dog I meet. If he's used to sleeping in a kennel then he is in sheer bliss up on the bed!

I was still enjoying Simon's appreciation of the Spice Girls hours later...

    1. I love that dog Darlene, I was with dad when he went to pick him up from a farm and have been smitten ever since he got car sick and snuggled up to me on the way back. He's a handsome dog of limited intellect but great charm (more of a he-man than a philosopher).
